Deepika Padukone looks sublime bedecked in the Cartier Le Voyage Recommencé High Jewellery collection

Actor, producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist (and all-round global superstar) Deepika Padukone added another name to her long and illustrious repertoire of brand partnerships in October last year when she was announced global brand ambassador for the French luxury brand Cartier. Ever since her association with the luxury house was made public, the actor has been donning Cartier pieces, the most noticeable of which was the statement yellow diamond necklace worn by Padukone at Oscars 2023 in March.

Cartier, with a legacy that spans over 175 years, is one of the oldest jewellers and watchmakers in the world. Having bedecked royals and celebrities alike, this brand is associated with affluence and fine taste. Being the global face of such a historic brand, alongside celebrities like Lily Collins and Yara Shahidi, is no small feat and Deepika Padukone is all set to further solidify this association with her first-ever Cartier campaign.

Along with French actors Pom Klementieff and Stéphane Bak, Padukone poses for the launch of Cartier's newest High Jewellery collection- Le Voyage Recommencé, which is an exploration of the brand's savoir-faire through modern perspectives, or as Jacqueline Karachi, Director of High Jewellery Creation at Cartier puts it, “A journey back to the heart of Cartier creation, an uninterrupted story being told over time.”

Deepika Padukone is seen flaunting pieces from the newest collection, like the Panthère Givrée necklace and Sama necklace, among others. For a collection that is brimming with emeralds, aquamarines, corals and diamonds galore, it is hardly overpowering, perfectly capturing Padukone's personal aesthetic of understated elegance and glamour with that of Cartier's to give sublime and sensuous imagery.
